Ross Gunning, 30, Producer of Movies to Musicals says:
"If you had told me in 2015 when I started Movies to Musicals that we would still be going 11 years later, I wouldn't have believed you. Having given 1000s of young performers incredible opportunities to share the stages with West End Royalty has been an absolute honour.
"I'm very excited to welcome Stevie Doc to our line up and alongside her very own Skye, Tobias Turley. Stevie is a Glasgow girl who studied Musical Theatre at the Dance School of Scotland, and this will be her first professional performance in Glasgow since graduating. We have some extremely exciting young performers to share the stage with Stevie."
Stevie Doc is known for winning the popular ITV competition show MAMMA MIA! I HAVE A DREAM judged by Alan Carr, Samantha Barks, Amber Riley and Jessie Ware. She then went on to play the leading role of Sophie Sheridan in the production at the Novello Theatre for which she was recently nominated for ‘Best Professional Debut Performance’ in the WhatsOnStage Awards.
Lizzie Bea trained at National Youth Theatre, National Youth Music Theatre and National Student Drama Festival. Her credits include Heathers (The Other Palace); Hairspray (London Coliseum); A Christmas Carol (Dominion Theatre); Becoming Nancy (Alliance Theatre, Atlanta) and Pat in Kinky Boots (UK Tour).
The producers of Movies to Musicals would like to thank their incredible hotel sponsors, Ibis Styles Glasgow, for supporting them and looking after their guest artists for show weekend.
